In addition, the 245 also features our fuel efficient NuV3 hull design; spacious, self-bailing cockpit; stern wave gate with a functional foldaway stern seat; wraparound windshield; a 100% hand-laid hull with a fiberglass stringer system; the innovative Scout "Strata-Mount" outboard engine mounting system that allows the natural stresses of engine weight and thrust to be transmitted equally throughout the entire hull, rather than solely at the transom, for increased performance and unmatched structural strength; all-composite coring throughout; and extensive range provided by the 126 gallon fuel tank.
